Life is hectic ^_^
Last Wednesday, I took Mommy out to Liberty for her birthday treat. (Her birthday was in September. It took me this long to get a space in her social calendar.) We had fizz and dressed crab for supper, yum. It's so chilled out there - really cool and quiet, and the people are really nice. She had to head back early, so I raised Rishi and we checked out Vanilla, a supercool bar that we probably wouldn't get into at the weekend, but it was pretty much empty (maybe cos it was such a nice evening and everyone was outside). Anyway, I had a rosewater-and-lychee champagne cocktail, which was one of the most delicious things I've ever drunk. So I had another.

Thursday was Simon's birthday, so we headed to Stoke Newington for pizza @ Il Bacio. Mary always tells us never to eat anything bigger than our heads, so we just ate the middle bits. We took Andrew home with us, and all three of us had cheese-induced stomach aches. Nom nom nom, woe.

By Friday evening I was feeling a bit ropey, so I came home from work and slept. Twelve hours seemed to do the trick: we headed to the South Bank on Saturday and had lunch in the sun at Canteen (and saw the people next to us wander off without paying their bill - how rude!) which Ted liked cos they have proper beer, and I liked cos they have very reasonably priced Prosecco. Then we wandered amongst the street artists, checked out the Rodchenko exhibition at the Hayward (it was so bad we've asked for our money back) and then strolled through the crowds to the Tate. We had a drink on the members' terrace, then headed inside. The Juan Munoz was stunning; we had a quick look around the Duchamp, Man Ray and Picabia, and it was fab but deserves a second visit.

Saturday night we crashed; Sunday we went to the farmers' market then swum and sauna'd, then Steve and Ruth came over for dinner. We had fun and jollity and music. Then I started feeling really ill, so I fell over in a heap of sickness and exhaustion for 24 hours.

This week, I have too much work to do. I'm getting a bit panicky, but it'll all work out - it always does. *crosses fingers* In the meantime, it's a quiet week this week. ^_^
