Work has been crazy this last month. I have three days off - to relax.

(Except for the part where I have to log on tomorrow night and make sure people are behaving themselves. I never thought all those hours spent in IRC chats would actually prove professionally useful.)

Anyway.

I want to ...

Tidy the flat, clean the flat, go to the Tate, have a boat ride, go to the National, go swimming, do T'ai Chi, go swimming again, and again, do T'ai Chi, bake, cook, bake some more, embroider, sew, go to the bank, sew with my machine, file my paperwork, sew again, go to the library, embroider again, go shopping, go shopping somewhere else, go to a party, refresh my websites, upload and tag 500 photos, go to another party, visit the parentals (and cats), go to a dinner party, go to a dinner party I've almost organized, do karaoke, tidy the flat again, get twice as much sleep as usual, sort out my entire life, lie in the sun with a book for an entire afternoon*, did I mention swimming?

And watch Cash in the Attic.

I think I may need to rationalise.

Ted and I were going to go and see "All's well that ends well" at the National tonight.

Unfortunately, we bought tickets for the matinee performance. *facepalm*

Ah well. At least they were the extra-cheap seats. Thank goodness for LoveFilm - we're watching Lawrence of Arabia and shouting, "These aren't the droids you're looking for! Move along!" whenever Alec Guinness is on screen.

Which is a lot.

And now Echo and the Bunnymen have just shown up. *suppresses desire for silly 80s indie hair*

Still, Ted's quite relieved 'cause we shopped *all* day yesterday as I cleared out my clothes at the weekend and discovered they were all worn out and I had none left. Then *we* were all worn out and I had no money left. He is a trooper and I ♥ him.

~~He also bought me un-sensible boots. They are gold and pretty and have kitty buckles on them and are a MUCH more fun birthday present than the iPhone I thought I wanted. Hoorah!~~

Last night I went to Science Museum Lates - it was so cool! We saw a comedy duo called Punk Science who waved apples on strings and told us that the space stations have fans in them so when you sleep CO2 doesn't stay by your face and SUFFOCATE YOU TO DEATH!

We also played with magnets and learnt that I'm not very good at building circuits. It is good that I hang around with geeks. :)

Work is crazy-busy. I'm never going on holiday again - the wash-up when I get back is just too messy.
