None of the last 500 words I wrote are any good. They were removed as soon as I submitted. The other 49500 need some work. I'm pondering whether I like the story. It's a reasonably solid structure without plotholes. I feel far happier sticking to more PG material and since this has themes of drugs, civil war, prostitution, rape, torture and murder it's quite solidly in the 18 certificate bracket

Am quite pleased that I wrote at least half of it on the train. I feel a great weight has been lifted. Now

I can relax now. Start editing last year's attempt.

today's plan: christmas tree shopping. Daniel has his heart set on a 10' tree for our 2 story living room. Not sure the base of that won't take up half the room! We have our non-tree decorations out and put up some outside decorations yesterday. we just did net lights on two bushes, a wreath on the door and a wire, lighted snowman outside. We need to get timers for those outside lights for sure today and we need an inside extension cord for the wreath since it is pre-lit. Question on that, how do you get a lit wreath looking nice when its corded?? I HATE seeing cords.

Annika is getting over a cold (well I think she's getting over it). She had a runny nose and then got a low grade fever Friday night into Sat morning. She hasn't felt hot enough for me to take her temperature since I last gave her ibuprofen at 7am sat morning. She still has a cough and is sneezing some and has watery eyes. Maybe I should give her some claritin for a few days now that I think about it since she has sneezing and watery eyes. Also giving them some orange juice for the vitC.

We went to my cousin's house for Thanksgiving... second year in a row. She lives about 2 hours away from us in Lizella, GA (just outside of Macon) on Lake Tobesofkee. Its nice. I preferred the non-pregnant version of thanksgiving. Not sure if it was the lack of wine consumption or something else. I did get to meet my cousin's (not the house owner, but her brother) new wife. They live in Charleston where my family is from. He works on the naval base (he's in the navy) as a nuclear engineer. His wife is from Mexico, about to apply for her greencard, and she is pregnant due on Jan 2nd. She is really nice. I liked her alot as she seemed very normal and down to earth. Poor thing was sick though (sore throat or something). The most suprising thing about Turkey day was the amount of cheese and butter in every casserole. I think next year I will avoid bringing the pumpkin dip. People say its great and talk about it from last year but this year nobody really ate it. Too much hassle for no consumption. I made glazed and some spiced pecans and those were a hit though. Perhaps because they're easy to eat.

I have my next OB appt on Tuesday and I'm not eager to find out how much I've gained. I was doing really well until about a month ago. the midwife was proud that I was finally gaining weight. Then in 2 weeks after that I gained 4.5 lbs. Who knows how much this time around due to eating sweets like they are going out of style and Turkey day of course. I am so tired of being pregnant... i would like to move on with the rest of my life please.

Yesterday I was doing a YoGov survey (referral link in case anyone fancies signing up) and got a question which asked me to list as many web browsers as I could. I think I may have been near the tip of the long tail on that one - I wonder if anyone else included Amaya?

This will be the first installment of raptors, I plan to have two more. Two of the birds here are very common around Perth, the other two are not as abundant, but still quite visible if you know where they are. Being raptors they require large territories to hunt so you usually won't see more than one or two birds at a time. The falcons are identified by their sleek shape, speedy flight and, if you can get close enough to see it, a notch on the beak called the "tomial tooth".

( Among them the fastest animal in the world. )

For those that are wondering, the bird in my icon is a White-bellied Sea-eagle, which won't be featured in this series as it isn't very common around Perth.

Goshdarnit! I just need to come up with 677 words of filler. Get to 51300ish by OO3's inaccurate word count. That can't be that hard surely.

Mind you.... I hate my prologue. This will need a major rewrite. That can wait until next year though.

I recently put together a Paja Dal, but she's not done because I'm having a hard time deciding on the color of her eyelids. Paja's eyelids are unpainted, but she's a pullip, so you can't see them. Paja Dal is another story.



What color for the eyelids go best? Do I match the painted eyelashes, the hair eyelashes, the eyeshadow, or the eyebrows? Help!

Also, if anyone is interested, for this Dal I took a picture at each step to illustrate the whole customizing (and occasionally screwing up, but then fixing) process at my flickr HERE if you want to take a look. It should be interesting to see, since my 'first drafts' are rarely perfect.

Oh god I can't even

It had action, drama, CHEESE, action, AMAZING BITS, drama, omg.

I seriously want to see it again. God it was the BEST disaster/action movie I've ever ever seen. Aaa.

I haven't been in the pullip forums or communities in the longest time, so I have no idea how much my dolls would sell for.
